Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday October 6, 2014
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:07 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President: Dave Gilmour

Dave: If everyone has read the minutes from the last meeting. Are there any errors or omissions?.

Mary: Correction to the Treasurer’s Report: $146.90 for Judges gifts for the BCCI National Specialty.   This should read - $146.90 for Judges gifts for the BCCI Ontario Regional Specialty.

• Patti: The membership renewal form for 2015 is now available in the members' only area on the Boxer Club of Canada web site.  (Thanks for posting this, Mary! )  

• Renewals are now sent to Kim Long. Her address is listed on the renewal form.                
• Please consider renewing early 
• The membership application form has also been updated to include Kim Long's name and address.
• The sponsors for Robert Millsaps membership application (Rams Boxers - Texas) have been contacted: they are Michelle Yeadon and Shelly Dueck. If you have any concerns, please let me know.
• Welcome to new member, Ernest Friesen, as his probationary status is over.

Health Standards committee: Sandra Beck

• Melissa: Here is the report for the Health Standards Commitee From Sandra Beck –

• currently doing some research and making enquiries -contacted CKC for info on policy -will contact members for additional input once initial enquiries are completed

• From Lillian after the meeting: sorry about missing the meeting --previous commitment 
  
• I have one item for G&W  -- Rod Norris has been in / out of hospital for the last month and half .. the last stay was for a week..sent him a get well card from the BCC, he is now on oxygen 24 /7

New Business:
                Mary: IMPORTANT -Any members who wish to apply for a Regional Specialty in 2015 and want sponsorship from Royal Canin need to get there applications in to Cindy before the January meeting, earlier if possible.  Royal Canin now has a policy that sponsorship from National Clubs must be submitted online in January or early Feb
